As a woman who wants to make it in this world, first impressions count! Your capacity to walk into a room and command it will influence your ability to stand out or fade into the background. Keep in mind the old-age adage....You never get a second chance to make a good first impression!

Hey Evolvers, Have you ever asked yourself, how long does it take to grab someone's attention? Well, believe it or not, research says it only takes about 7 seconds... Yep, first impressions stick, so nailing that initial interaction is key. But here's the thing: how do you make those crucial moments count? It's all about your vibe – your appearance, body language, attitude, and style. And it's not just about grabbing attention; it's about holding onto it! Personal Style
First up in line (this one is my absolute favorite) is personal style! What is your personal style? Do you know? Despite what everyone says….People will see you before they get to know you, and based on what you project they unconsciously decide how to treat you! It's all a part of the law of attraction! Besides …dressing well is a form of good manners!
By harnessing your personal style you can say who you are, without having to say who you are! In this day and age authenticity counts! Be original, let your personality shine through in the clothes that you wear!

Hey Evolver! Create a capsule closet, play with various colors and designs, and take it a step further by infusing your personal style into your own brand. This ensures you always make a statement and stand out from the crowd!
Precision
Precision is all about paying attention to detail! Something as simple as ensuring that you are well groomed will make a huge difference. Ensuring that your clothing is neatly ironed and your seam is in place is important!
Adding a dash of red lipstick or accessories can transform and elevate any look!
Even selecting the right kind of undergarments can significantly impact your overall appearance and boost your confidence!
Hey Evolver! Don't forget: the real beauty is in the details! Small adjustments can have a huge impact. I want you to really care about your appearance because when you look good, you feel good!
Posture
Looking to improve your posture? Amy Cuddy, a renowned authority in nonverbal communication, offers a straightforward yet powerful life hack in her TED talk. She proposes that a mere two-minute adjustment in posture can notably boost confidence. Give it a try: stand in front of a mirror and practice "power posing," mimicking the iconic Wonder Woman stance for just two minutes. This exercise can help condition your brain to exude assertiveness, confidence, and relaxation.

When you walk into a room, own it! Stand tall, chin up, shoulders squared. Your posture speaks volumes, echoing confidence and self-assurance. It gives a silent introduction that speaks louder than words.

Personality
And now for the moment we all were waiting for! You enter the room and its time for to introduce yourself. From your very first word, let your personality shine through! Remember energy is transferable!

Hey Evolver! Don't try to be something you are not! Authenticity breeds connection, share your passions, demonstrate empathy, be enthusiastic and embrace your uniqueness. Being personable and showing off your personality will make you memorable long after the first encounter.
Presence
It is great to show off your personality but be more importantly, Be Present! It's all about being fully engaged in the moment. Dale Carnegie from his ever popular book: How to Win Friends and Influence People show us 6 ways to get people to like you and make a good impression:
Hey Evolver! Always strive to ensure that your presence make others feel valued and appreciated. As Maya Angelou famously said: "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel!"
